Scripture financial blessing: miracle prayer for financial blessing

To be able to be blessed from God, you need to follow his commandments and give whenever it is possible for you. All depends on giving and receiving. To be blessed you need to be a blessing.

Luke 6:38-

Jesus said “Give and it will be given to you, a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Basically more you give more, you receive. It means not only giving money but giving your time to others as well. How do you give your time ? It is by inquiring from others, of their needs especially for the poor and needy. Each month set aside a tenth of your income for God and also set aside your time to help others.

Cut your neighbors lawn, for free. Do shopping for your ailing father, mother or even for your next door old neighbors. When you do this God will pour out blessings from heaven upon you.

Each month, give one tenth of all your income to the church and if there
is enough left over, give to the poor and needy, to charity. As it says in Malachi3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it ” says the Lord Almighty.

Here, God is throwing a challenge at you. He is asking you to prove him. It is for you to take up this challenge. God’s word never changes. I know it is difficult to give. If you on a basic income or government support, it makes it more difficult.

The bottom line, whatever the hardships you face now will be over as you obey God’s commandments. When you give ten percent of your income, God will give you back ten times more even much more.

You need to believe it one hundred percent. This is where you need to have faith in God. It says “without faith its impossible to please God”

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Here it speaks about generosity. You must give with a loving, caring heart and not under compulsion. You need to be joyful in giving, giving the maximum amount of time that you can spare. Also, the maximum amount of money that you can give.

Giving just the bare minimum would not help. God does not need your money. He is looking for something to work on your behalf. And when you give tithes he is well pleased. It is not for him. He knows it will finance various projects that your local church does every year. It could be for missions, food bank throwing giving to the poor.

God is the creator of this earth. If he wants he can create Gold and silver and even money.

Another way you can give is your time. It is important for you to engage in some charity work. Helping the food bank, volunteering transport for poor and elderly. Doing chores for them.

2 Corinthians 9:11

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

When you have abundance of money, you are able to bless others. And you can be happy that you are not a burden to your family or even the government. When you have to buy a specific gift for your wife or buy gifts for your friends this Christmas, you must have finances or what everybody calls, Money.

When there are lots of money, there will be many friends. But be pre-warned, the moment you lose your wealth, they will be gone. Money has been mentioned more than 800 times in the bible.

Proverbs 21:20

“The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get.”

This is what happens in the world today. The fools spend, waste their hard-earned money on unnecessary things.

“A feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything”

Whatever others say, you need money to live in this world. Whoever says on the contrary, is not being honest. Even evangelists today, live in luxury. I am not being sarcastic or judgmental, and there is nothing wrong with having goods and living in luxury, as Jesus said “I cometh that, thy you may have Life and life more abundantly”

Some critics say, Jesus meant that this was in heaven. No, then he would have added the word in “heaven” at the end of this quote.
He came to save the poor and give them a chance.

Proverbs 10:22

The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

When the Lord blesses you he will not add difficulties, you will be free and independent of all problems you face in the world. This the true blessing that you will receive. And God will generously provide you with everything you need in life, trouble free.

Do you know that Christ redeemed us from the curse so that we could receive the Blessing given to Abraham may come to us ?

Galatians 3:13

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

When the heat comes many run away from God. Worst they join other faiths. This should not be as if you are steadfast, in the end you will be a winner.

Jeremiah 17:7-8

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

If you give your God the First place in your life in everything you do, he will set you high above all nations and pour out his blessings upon you.

Deuteronomy 28

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:

About debt-

Do not owe anything to anyone.Only debt to others is love. Not only you must love one another, you must love your enemies as well. Even the sinners love his friends.

Proverbs 22:7

Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another.

Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.

When you borrow from anyone you become his servant. You will be obligated to pay it whenever the lender wants you to do it. Even a loan from a bank will make you pay interest and become a hostage to them.

Always ensure that you pay back your debts in time. This is not only to have a good credit rating but to have respect in your community.

Caring for the old:

1 Timothy 5:8

But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.

This is very true today. As many children when their parents are old, just drop them off in an old aged, retirement home. And they think, they have done enough for them. They would just visit them once in a blue moon. This is not the way to take care of elderly when they are old.

When you were a toddler, they taught you how to walk, helped learn the language. Educated you, gave you pocket money. Looked after your well-being. And to neglect them when they are old is not acceptable.

Remember, one day you will be in the same station. And watch out, what if your own children do the same to you. Then you will remember how you treated your own parents when they were old. You will only be cursed and not blessed if you neglect your elders.

The Miracle Prayer:

“Oh, our Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus, I confess that I have sinned, and I repent of all my sins, and I forgive them all, please forgive me and bless me abundantly”

say this prayer morning and afternoon.

Getting blessed is no secret in this world. You may wonder how many Christians live a blessed life. You need to first confess your sins and repent them and forgive all your enemies.

When you start obeying the lord as outlined in the bible, you will start seeing results. You need to first give. Give not only money but your time for other as well. And care of the finances that God provides you.never get into debt. Enjoy but do not waste.

Help the poor. Have empathy. Be kind to others, help them whenever you can. Do not forget your mother and father when they are old and feeble.

  1. Thanks for your great insights here! I think you really summarized the key point when you said ‘to be blessed you need to be a blessing’. This is definitely true; you need to first lose yourself in the act of giving to others freely before you receive the blessings promised. It reminds me of the Scripture that says something along the lines of ‘For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.’ Are you familiar with this passage?

    1. Thank you for your comments, Yes, I am familiar with that scripture. it is in  Matthew 16:25 which tells you that you need to deny yourself to follow Christ.

  2. Thanks a lot Say for this helpful and very motivational article. I truly believe in our God Jesus Christ and I can confirm what you say in this topic is very true. Unfortunately, today, people are very selfish and they care for no one except for themselves. It is on us to pray for them and God will reward us with His blessings.
