Integrity and the bible: Integrity bible verses

Integrity and the bible:Integrity bible verses :

What is integrity. It is being honest to yourself and others. Doing the right thing in every situation. It is being an honest example to your children and peers.

Proverbs 28:6

“Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways.”

Always look to the right thing, in the eyes of man and God. Do not steal from your neighbor friend.

Colossians 3:23

“Whatever you to, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters”

When at work to not bring office supplies home, thinking it would not harm the company you work for because its of small value or just because your co-workers to the same.

The company buy supplies for office use, to assist in work. If everyone takes a stapler or any other product home then the office will go bankrupt within a short period. People show integrity. Work as if you are working for the lord. Do not cheat.

Do not use office computer to check your email, play games, invest in the stock market or watch pornography. This is deceitful in the eyes of the Lord.

Even government office workers were found out recently for watching pornography on the internet. These facilities are not being provided for workers to use for their entertainment. These are funded by the public. As the government is funded by the tax payers money. Internet service are provided to assist people, not for their private use.

Some cheat welfare funds. Some recipients work for cash and to not declare it. This is cheating and shows lack of integrity. They forget these funds are being funded by the government and the government gets the money from hard-working peoples tax money.

If the whole country stops working there will be no funds to offer to the poor on welfare. So, for the government to carry on with this these programs people must show integrity and not cheat the government.

Another rouse is some come from other countries claiming refugee status. And while some are genuine others just come for financial reasons or poverty. While it is a great thing to by helping those who really fled persecution, I see no reason for dishing out tax payers money to support the bogus.

There was a reason why God created different races in different countries. Some politicians try to integrate different races, religions in the same country. This has resulted in disharmony and tensions among different races,

Here I believe that President Trump has a point to make here. It should be noted it will be very difficult to integrate all races, religions into one country and still expect harmony. If it could be done God would not have separated countries and races.

Proverbs 10:9

“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out”

Do not use your computer to engage in online gambling, if caught you could lose your job. The Worst God will be watching you, and will lose favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Be zealous in being honest being a person of integrity. Do not go shop lifting with your buddy. If you get caught the punishment could be severe.

Do not drive when drunk. As it could end up in tragedy. And probably on jail for a longer period. How many people were killed by drunk driving. The organization MADD was created to let the public aware of this tragedy.

Now there are new tough laws to stop people from driving drunk. Many innocent get killed almost daily. God created all in his image. Each time when his children die he is hurt. There is nothing God can to about it unless people change. This is why he has established government and rulers. To govern and establish law and order. Therefore, it is important the rulers create necessary laws to curb drunk driving.

You go to the church and attend the Sunday morning church service and when outside you get cut off by another member of the same church, you point the finger at him. This is not correct, its hypocrisy.

Many preach to others only to the opposite just after leaving the church. They say to not lie to each other but they lie. They say to not steal, but they steal, they say to not fornicate but they to. All in the name of God. This is hypocrisy.

Do not cheat IRA by hiding your extra income you get by working for extra cash. Do not report earning as for charity when it is not. Always try to the right thing in the eyes of the Lord.

Do not show expense for your business when actually they are not. You would found out eventually. Many are engaged in this fraudulent behavior. If court they could end up in jail for a long time.

If you owe on your student loan, pay back.If unable to pay back as a lung sum, re negotiate it. Ask for easier repayment terms, its important that you pay it all back despite financial difficulties. God will honor you.

You preach to your friend and family and when not in sight you to the opposite, this is ludicrous. Be a doer of what you preach, not a hypocrite.

I lost my cell phone in the mall. And I looked for it everywhere. Never found it. I had to buy a new phone. My point is whoever found that phone could have easily called one of the numbers in the phone and called me and return it.

I remember the when previously when I lost another phone, a gentleman called me and asked me if I lost my phone. He gave me his location and it was returned to me.

Many when they find something, pocket it if its money and if it is a cell phone or any similar item, they go and sell them.

Unfortunately, in the world today, it is difficult to find people of integrity. One major reason for it is because of irregular church attendance.

Few are really interested in knowing about good and truth. Need to encourage all to attend church or synagogue, or any religious institution. It is because no religion teaches anything bad but good.

Colossians 3:23-

” Whatever you to, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men”

For an employer it is important that you are a person of integrity. If you engage in activity that harms the office, the business, you will get fired. Always remember to your best at work. Do not follow your co-worker and take that extra stapler home.

Take the high road. Do not associate yourself with thieves. When you are rich try not to cheat others and become richer. Do not engage in ponzi schemes.

There are many schemes especially on the internet, where they want you to make a small deposit and promise you millions. And almost all these schemes are fraudulent and gullible get caught on it.

Do not look for shortcut to riches. It is only by saving little by little. Drops of rain makes rivers and seas.

Proverbs 11:3

” The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity “

Once I was supposed to receive a gift through a relative of my mother. My mother sent some money to her to buy me a gift. And what the receiver did was to buy something cheaper and pocket that money. She sent me a gift of inferior quality to me. This is not integrity. It is stealing.

When you to anything with integrity God’s blessing will be upon you. Walk the path with integrity and righteousness.

Psalm 7:8

“The Lord judges the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.”

Do you realize that God watches over you. And in return he expects you to be honest and shine with integrity. As the psalmist says here, he will judge you. He will watch how you conduct your affairs. Are you being honest at work, home, church, in the mall, in the park, at the business meetings.

You must not try to undercut other business partners by quoting low. And try steal their contracts. You can not borrow and not repay.

While it is true that after borrowing from others that you could suddenly face financial difficulties or even bankruptcy. But you must show your integrity by trying and re negotiating the loans. It does not matter if the loans are personal or business. You must pay them back.

Many carry credit card and other debts. And they take advantage and declare bankruptcy even though they can pay back by re-financing.

Conclusion:

God requires you to lead an honest life of integrity. You need to strive to be a person of honesty and integrity. Do not follow others when they cheat on taxes, at work, Do not drive drunk. If you find something, return it to the owner. If you borrow pay back. When at work, do it as if you are working for the Lord.

  1. Love this post! Know that you must do the right thing, all the time. Lead by example. Actions speak louder than words! Too many people think that they only have to live a life of integrity some of the time… NO. Show integrity ALL the time. You can say whatever you want but if you’re not living your life in the way you speak of, then it means nothing.

    Keep up the good work!

  2. Hi! Reflection about Integrity is very intriguing! I think that religion provides good suggestions first of all to be happy. Integrity is one of the means through which we can achieve happiness. Regarding religion as a sum of “not to do” sometimes make it looks like a too restricted life. On the other side it has to be seen from the side of the many things we can do and religion tell us to do: these are the things that make us free and happy, in my opinion! Thanks for suggestion!

    1. Thanks for your comments.Actually, Christianity guides you and not trying to restrict anyone. God has given everyone  a free will/choice. You can either listen to him or go on your way. For example there are laws to be followed on earth. If you stray away you will have to face the consequences. God bless

  3. This is really touching. I love website like this. They tends to educate you , inspire you on how to go in living the best life one can live. This post is educative, integrity matters in every aspect of man’s life. I will strongly share this post to my friends and family so they can get inspired also. This is a must read for everyone.

  4. I am not a religious person at all, but I do agree with the sentiment here. I try to always show integrity, not because I am fearful of the recriminations in the eyes of God, but out of a sense of moral standards, self respect and respect towards others. If all lived by these values, the world would be a safer and happier place.

  5. I agree with you, many people including myself have done things we shouldn’t do.  I ask god to forgive me and others who may not realize or know better.  Today we live in hard times and have to stop and look at ourselves and be more grateful for  everything we have including the ones we love.   I think people are so busy and trying to just survive today they forget to stop and be thankful. Its nice to see someone soul searching and giving god the glory.  Peace be with you.
